Date and Place of Birth: Born in  Khoder, Bekaa, Lebanon, on November 27, 1967. Son of Mukhtar Ali Hussein Awdi of Khoder.

Educational background: 
1- BA in Business Administration, Eastern Ct State University, May 25th 1990, Willimantic, Connecticut, USA.

2- MBA in International Business, University of Hartford, West Hartford, USA.

3- Studied at the American University of Beirut between 1986 and 1988 before moving on to the United States.

Business Background: Owner of the Kiwi Real Estate Agency which deals in real estate, shops, fabrics for furniture in Bucharest, Romania. In Lebanon, I deal in agricultural products like grapes, potatoes, growing kiwi fruits in Housh Sneid, Bekaa..

Career Highlights:

• Member of the Arab American Anti Discrimination Committee in the Connecticut (Ct) Chapter, currently Chaired by Mr. Sameer Hassan, an American citizen of Lebanese Descent (Mlich, south Lebanon).
• Received  honorary medal from the Gebran Khalil Gebran Educational Fund in Boston, Mass, USA.
• Member of Green Peace Lebanon.
• Experience in the rural areas of Bekaa, Akkar, south Lebanon, and the agricultural sector in general.
• Experience in furniture, textiles and electronic trade.
• Experience in internet, e-government, e-marketing, e-agriculture and political lobbying.
• Experience in VAT, privatization, and taxation.
• Experience in international trade, marketing and  fairs. Attended fairs in Brazil, France, Germany, USA (Las Vegas, Atlanta, New Jersey), Romania, Poland, Hungary, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Italy, Canada, and Paraguay.
• Experience in real estate and upholstery fabrics.
• Runs own company in Romania which deals with privately owned properties: www.kiwirealtya.co.ro.
• Runs the distribution of American flock velvet fabrics from USA to all factoriesof furniture in Romania.
• Runs a hotel in Bucharest, Romania by the name of "Kiwi Apartments."
